Editorial Policy of the Journal
The Journal publishes:
- articles with the results of original, previously unpublished research;
- articles by domestic and foreign scientists, written based on their reports delivered at international conferences;
- reviews written by request of the Editorial Board;
- articles written for special occasions, for example, as part of anniversary and memorial issues.
The main objective of the Journal is to create an open intellectual forum for leading experts and specialist researchers in the mathematical game theory and management science.
In the Journal, two sorts of contributions prevail: those that are mainly concerned with the application of game theoretic methods and that develop theoretical background.
The Journal pursues the following priorities:
- Cooperative games and applications
- Dynamic games and applications
- Differential games and applications
- Pursuit-Evasion games
- Dynamic networks
- Stochastic games and applications
- Networking games
- Auctions
- Game theory applications in fields such as: strategic management, industrial organization, marketing, public management, financial management, human resources, energy and resource management and others.
All research articles in this journal undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous double-blind refereeing by two referees, whose area of expertise is as close as possible to the subject of the submitted manuscript.
The experts (reviewers) are volunteers from a group of leading scientists of Russian and foreign universities and institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The selection of experts is made by members of the editorial board and the editor-in-chief.
In its policy, the Editorial Board follows the recommendations provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Editorial Ethics and Peer Review Guidelines.
All manuscripts are formatted in compliance with the world standards and are furnished with abstracts, keywords and references. Since 2020, DOI names have been assigned to all the articles published in the Journal.
Contributions to Game Theory and Management is published annually.
Contributions to Game Theory and Management is sited and reviewed in: Math-Net.ru and RSCI; abstracted and indexed in: Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt MATH and VINITI.
